🔧 Side View Mirror - Replacement
Replacing a side view mirror on your CR-V is usually a straightforward exterior trim job. You’ll remove the interior sail panel, unplug the mirror connector, then unbolt the mirror assembly and install the new one.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 1-2 hours
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Work with the ignition off and the key far away from the vehicle.
- Do not pry hard on the door trim; the clips can break easily.
- If your mirror has heat, blind-spot monitoring, or turn signal wiring, unplug the connector gently.
- No battery disconnect is normally required, but keep the window fully up while working.
- Handle the new mirror carefully so the paint and glass do not get scratched.
