🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open the Hood and Locate the MAF Sensor
- Use your hands to release the hood latch and support the hood securely.
- Find the air filter box, then follow the black intake tube toward the engine.
- The MAF sensor is the small plastic sensor mounted with two screws and an electrical connector.
- Tip: Take a photo first.
Step 2: Optional Battery Disconnect
- Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the negative battery cable clamp.
- Move the negative cable away from the battery post so it cannot spring back and touch.
