🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Access the headlamp assembly
- Open the hood and locate the front headlamp housing on the side you are servicing.
- Use the 7mm socket and ratchet to remove the upper lamp fasteners.
- Use the 10mm socket and short extension if an additional retaining bolt is present.
- Gently pull the lamp assembly forward enough to reach the bulb socket.
- Torque to 7 Nm (62 in-lbs) on reinstallation.
Step 2: Remove the turn signal bulb socket
- Reach behind the lamp and find the turn signal bulb socket.
- Twist the socket counterclockwise by hand, or use the flat-blade screwdriver gently if needed.
- Pull the socket straight out of the housing.
- Do not force the socket.
Step 3: Replace the bulb
- Remove the old bulb from the socket.
- Install the new front turn signal bulb into the socket.
- Make sure it seats fully and evenly.
- If the seal is cracked or hard, replace the front turn signal bulb socket seal.
Step 4: Reinstall the socket and lamp
- Insert the socket back into the lamp housing.
- Twist clockwise until it locks.
- Reposition the headlamp assembly.
- Use the 7mm socket and 10mm socket to reinstall the fasteners.
- Torque to 7 Nm (62 in-lbs).
Step 5: Test the new bulb
- Turn the ignition on.
- Activate the turn signal on the repaired side.
- Check for normal flash rate and bright operation.
- Verify the parking lamp and headlamp still work.

- Walk around the vehicle and confirm both front signals work normally.
- If the bulb does not light, recheck the socket orientation and bulb seating.
- If the signal flashes fast, the bulb may not be seated or the wrong bulb type may be installed.
