Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Recover the refrigerant

- Confirm both high-side and low-side gauges read 0 psi before opening any line.
- Do not vent refrigerant.
Step 2: Disconnect the battery

Step 3: Raise and support the front of the truck

Step 15: Replace the expansion valve
