🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Remove the Interior Mirror Trim

• Insert a plastic trim-removal tool between the upper edge of the triangular interior trim panel and the door.
• Gently pry the panel inward to release its retaining clips, then lift it away from the door.
• Do not twist the panel sharply; a tweeter speaker may be attached behind it.
• Work slowly to avoid breaking the retaining clips.

Step 2: Disconnect the Tweeter if Equipped

• Support the trim panel with one hand.
• Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to depress the tweeter connector lock, then unplug it by holding the connector body.

Step 11: Reinstall the Interior Trim
