🔧 Rear Turn Signal Bulb - Bulb Replacement
Replacing the rear turn signal bulbs on your Equinox is a simple outside-lamp service. You’ll remove the tail lamp housing, swap the bulb, and reinstall everything so the light works and stays sealed.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the ignition off and remove the key or fob from the vehicle.
- Let the rear lamps cool down before touching them.
- Use care when prying the lamp housing so you do not crack the lens or body clips.
- If you are working near the battery, disconnect the negative battery cable only if needed.
- Handle the new bulb with clean hands or gloves. A bulb is a small glass light. Oil from skin can shorten bulb life.
