• 🪟 Place a clean microfiber towel on the windshield under the raised wiper arm as a cushion.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver-Side Wiper Arm

• Put on safety glasses.
• Lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays raised.
• Place a clean microfiber towel between the arm and windshield as a safety cushion.
• Keep one hand on the arm.

Step 2: Find the Blade Release Tab

• Look where the wiper blade connects to the curved end of the wiper arm.
• This curved end is called a hook-style arm. It holds the blade by sliding into the blade adapter.
• Use your fingers to press the small release tab on the blade adapter.

Step 3: Remove the Old Driver-Side Blade

• While pressing the release tab with your fingers, slide the old blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• Once it clears the hook, pull the old blade off the arm.
• Slowly lower the bare wiper arm onto the clean microfiber towel if you need both hands.
• No torque spec applies because no fasteners are removed.

Step 4: Install the New Driver-Side Blade

• Pick up the new 22" front wiper blade.
• Slide the blade adapter into the hook end of the wiper arm.
• Pull the blade upward into the hook until it clicks and locks.
• Gently tug the blade by hand to confirm it is locked in place.
• A click means it is seated.

Step 5: Lower the Driver-Side Wiper Arm

• Hold the wiper arm with one hand.
• Remove the clean microfiber towel from the windshield.
• Slowly lower the wiper blade onto the glass.

Step 6: Replace the Passenger-Side Blade

• Lift the passenger-side wiper arm and place the clean microfiber towel under it.
• Press the release tab with your fingers.
• Slide the old blade down and off the hook-style arm.
• Install the new 18" front wiper blade by sliding it into the hook until it clicks.
• Gently tug the blade by hand to verify it is locked.
• Remove the towel and slowly lower the arm onto the windshield.

Step 7: Test the Wipers

• Sit in your Canyon and turn the ignition to accessory or run mode.
• Use the windshield washer function to wet the glass before running the wipers.
• Turn the wipers on low speed and watch both blades sweep smoothly.
• If a blade skips, chatters, or lifts, turn the wipers off and check that the blade is fully clicked into the hook.
