🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver-Side Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to carefully lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Place a clean microfiber towel on the glass under the raised arm.
• The wiper arm is spring-loaded, which means it is pulled toward the glass by spring tension.
• Hold the arm firmly.

Step 2: Rotate the Old Blade

• Use your hand to rotate the old wiper blade so it is nearly straight with the wiper arm.
• Look for the small locking tab near the center of the blade adapter.
• The adapter is the plastic connector between the blade and the metal wiper arm.

Step 3: Release the Old Blade

• Use your thumb to press the small locking tab on the blade adapter.
• While pressing the tab, slide the blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• The blade will move out of the hook at the end of the arm.

Step 6: Replace the Passenger-Side Blade

• Use your hand to lift the passenger-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Place the clean microfiber towel on the glass under the raised arm.
• Use your thumb to press the locking tab on the old blade adapter.
• Slide the old blade downward and out of the hook.
• Use your hand to install the new 18" passenger-side wiper blade into the hook.
• Push until the blade clicks into place.
• Gently pull the blade to verify it is locked.
• Slowly lower the arm back onto the windshield.

Step 7: Test the Wipers

• Use the washer switch on the wiper stalk to spray washer fluid onto the windshield.
• Turn the wipers ON using the wiper stalk and let them sweep several times.
• Watch for smooth movement, no skipping, and no contact with the hood or windshield trim.
• If a blade streaks, use a clean microfiber towel to wipe the rubber edge once.
