🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Raise the Driver Wiper Arm

• Put on safety glasses.
• Use your hand to gently lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Place a clean shop towel between the arm area and windshield in case the arm slips.
• Hold the arm firmly.

Step 2: Rotate the Old Blade

• Use your hand to rotate the wiper blade so it sits nearly perpendicular to the wiper arm.
• The Kicks uses a common hook-style wiper arm; this means the blade slides into a curved hook at the end of the arm.

Step 3: Release the Old Blade

• Use your thumb to press the small locking tab on the blade adapter.
• While pressing the tab, slide the blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm to unhook it.
• Remove the old blade from the arm by hand.
• No torque spec applies because this repair uses no bolts or nuts.

Step 4: Install the New Driver Blade

• Use your hand to guide the new 26" driver-side wiper blade into the hook on the wiper arm.
• Slide the blade upward into the hook until it clicks into place.

• Press the locking tab with your thumb and slide the old blade downward out of the hook.
• Install the new 16" passenger-side wiper blade by sliding it into the hook until it clicks.
• Gently tug the blade by hand to confirm it is secure.
• Slowly lower the arm back onto the windshield.

Step 7: Check Blade Position

• Use your eyes to confirm both blades sit flat against the windshield.
• Make sure the rubber edges are not twisted or folded.
• Confirm the driver blade is the longer 26" blade and the passenger blade is the shorter 16" blade.
