🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your hands to lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Place the clean microfiber towel on the glass below the arm.
• Keep one hand on the wiper arm so it cannot spring back.
• Never release the bare arm.

Step 2: Rotate the Old Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your hands to rotate the old wiper blade away from the arm until you can see the connector.
• Look for the small locking tab in the blade connector.
• The locking tab is the small plastic latch that keeps the blade attached to the wiper arm.

Step 3: Remove the Old Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your thumb to press the locking tab on the blade connector.
• While holding the tab, slide the blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• Once it clears the hook, use your hand to pull the blade off the arm.

Step 7: Remove the Old Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your hands to rotate the old passenger wiper blade so you can see the connector.
• Use your thumb to press the locking tab.
• Slide the blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm until it releases from the hook.
• Pull the old blade off by hand.

Step 8: Install the New Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your hands to position the new 17" passenger wiper blade on the hook-style arm.
• Slide the blade connector into the hook until it clicks into place.
• Pull gently by hand to confirm the blade is fully locked.

Step 9: Lower the Passenger Wiper Arm

• Use your hands to slowly lower the passenger wiper arm onto the windshield.
• Check that the rubber edge is not twisted or folded.

Step 10: Test the New Wipers

• Use the windshield washer spray before running the wipers. Do not test new blades on dry glass.
• Use the wiper stalk to run the wipers on low speed for a few passes.
• Confirm both blades wipe smoothly without skipping, streaking, or hitting the windshield trim.
