🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays raised.
• Place the clean microfiber towel on the glass under the raised arm.
• Keep one hand on the arm while working so it cannot snap back.

Step 2: Find the Release Tab

• Use your fingers to look under the center of the wiper blade where it connects to the hook-shaped arm.
• Find the small plastic release tab on the blade adapter.
• The adapter is the plastic connector that locks the blade to the wiper arm.

Step 3: Remove the Old Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your thumb to press the release tab.
• While holding the tab, slide the wiper blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• Once the blade clears the hook, pull it off the arm by hand.
• Do not release the metal wiper arm onto the windshield.
• Tip: Keep the arm supported.

Step 4: Install the New Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your hand to line up the new 22-inch driver wiper blade adapter with the hook on the wiper arm.
• Slide the blade upward into the hook until it clicks.
• Gently tug the blade by hand to confirm it is locked in place.

Step 5: Lower the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to carefully lower the driver wiper arm back onto the windshield.
• Remove the clean microfiber towel only after the blade is resting on the glass.

Step 6: Lift the Passenger Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to lift the passenger-side wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays raised.
• Place the clean microfiber towel on the glass under the raised arm.
• Keep one hand on the arm while working.

Step 7: Remove the Old Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your thumb to press the release tab on the passenger blade adapter.
• Slide the wiper blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• Pull the old blade off the hook by hand.

Step 8: Install the New Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your hand to line up the new 21-inch passenger wiper blade adapter with the hook on the wiper arm.
• Slide the blade upward into the hook until it clicks.
• Gently tug the blade by hand to make sure it is locked.

Step 9: Lower the Passenger Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to carefully lower the passenger wiper arm back onto the windshield.
• Remove the clean microfiber towel after the blade is resting on the glass.

Step 10: Test the Wipers

• Use the windshield washer switch from inside the cabin to wet the windshield.
• Turn the wipers on low speed and watch both blades sweep smoothly.
• Confirm there is no skipping, streaking, or loose blade movement.
