🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your gloved hand to gently lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Set a clean microfiber towel under the raised arm as a safety cushion.
• Hold the arm firmly while working. The spring-loaded arm can snap down hard.
• Keep one hand on the arm.

Step 2: Unlock the Old Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your fingers to find the small locking tab where the blade connects to the wiper arm.
• Press the locking tab inward with your thumb.
• While holding the tab, slide the old blade down toward the base of the wiper arm.
• No torque spec applies because there are no bolts or nuts.

Step 3: Remove the Old Driver Wiper Blade

Step 6: Replace the Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use the same steps on the passenger-side wiper arm.
• Use your gloved hand to lift the passenger wiper arm and place the microfiber towel under it.
• Press the locking tab with your thumb, then slide the old blade down and out of the hook.
• Install the new 20" passenger-side blade until it clicks.
• Gently tug the blade to confirm it is locked, then slowly lower the arm onto the windshield.

Step 7: Test the New Wipers

• Use the windshield washer switch to spray washer fluid before running the wipers.
• Turn the wipers on low speed and watch for smooth movement.
• If a blade chatters, skips, or streaks, turn the wipers off and recheck that the blade is fully clicked into the hook.
• Always test with fluid, not dry glass.
