📋 Before You Begin

• 🧼 Clean the lower windshield area with a microfiber towel so dirt does not scratch the glass.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to gently lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Place a microfiber towel on the windshield under the arm as a cushion.
• Never let the arm drop.

Step 2: Find the Release Tab

• Use your fingers to look at the center of the old wiper blade where it connects to the arm.
• Find the small plastic release tab. This tab unlocks the blade from the hook-style arm.

Step 3: Remove the Old Driver Blade

• Use your fingers to press the release tab.
• While holding the tab, slide the old blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• Once it clears the hook, pull the blade off the arm by hand.
• No torque spec applies because this repair uses no bolts or nuts.

Step 4: Install the New Driver Blade

• Use your hand to position the new 22" driver-side wiper blade under the hook on the wiper arm.
• Slide the blade upward into the hook until it clicks into place.
• Gently pull the blade downward by hand to confirm it is locked.
• Listen for the click.

Step 5: Lower the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your hand to carefully lower the driver wiper arm back onto the windshield.
• Keep control of the arm the whole time so it does not snap down.

Step 6: Replace the Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your hand to lift the passenger-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
• Place the microfiber towel under the arm to protect the glass.
• Use your fingers to press the release tab on the old blade.
• Slide the old blade downward and remove it from the hook-style arm.
• Use your hand to install the new 18" passenger-side wiper blade.
• Slide it upward into the hook until it clicks.
• Gently tug the blade by hand to verify it is locked.
• Carefully lower the passenger wiper arm onto the windshield.

Step 7: Test the Wipers

• Use the washer switch on the wiper stalk to spray the windshield.
• Run the wipers on low speed and check that both blades wipe smoothly.
• If a blade skips, chatters, or leaves streaks, turn the wipers off and make sure the blade is fully clicked into the arm.
