🔧 Front Wiper Blades - Replacement
Your front wiper blades wear out from sun, rain, and dirt. Replacing them restores clear visibility and helps prevent streaking, skipping, and noise in bad weather.

⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the ignition off before starting.
- Keep the wiper arms supported so they do not snap onto the windshield. That can crack the glass.
- Use a towel or cardboard on the glass as a soft backup surface.
- No battery disconnect is required for this repair.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Lift the driver wiper arm
- Use both hands to lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
- Move it slowly so the arm does not spring back.
- Set the arm on the towel if you need a pause.
Step 2: Remove the old driver blade
- Find the small release tab where the blade attaches to the arm.
- Use a small flat blade screwdriver if needed to gently press the tab.
- Slide the old blade down and off the hook or clip.
- Do not force the connector.
Step 3: Install the new driver blade
- Align the new 26" front wiper blade with the arm connector.
- Slide it into place until you hear or feel a click.
- Pull lightly on the blade to make sure it is locked in.
Step 4: Repeat for the passenger side
- Lift the passenger-side wiper arm carefully.
- Remove the old blade with the same method.
- Install the new 16" front wiper blade and confirm it clicks into place.
Step 5: Lower the wiper arms
- Gently lower both arms back onto the windshield one at a time.
- Make sure they sit flat and do not twist.
- Lower them slowly.
Step 6: Test the new blades
- Turn the ignition on.
- Spray washer fluid and run the wipers for a few cycles.
- Check for smooth movement, even contact, and no chatter.
