📋 Before You Begin

• Park your Odyssey on level ground.
• Turn the ignition off and remove the key/fob from the driver area.
• Make sure the wiper switch is in the OFF position.
• Place a clean microfiber towel on the lower windshield under the wiper arm area as a cushion.
• A J-hook wiper arm means the end of the arm is shaped like a hook that the wiper blade clips into.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the Driver Wiper Arm

• Use your hands to gently lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays upright.
• Place the clean microfiber towel on the windshield under the arm.
• Hold the arm securely.

Step 2: Release the Old Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your gloved fingers to find the small release tab where the blade connects to the hooked end of the wiper arm.
• Press the release tab with your thumb.
• While holding the tab, slide the old blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• The blade will slide out of the J-hook.

Step 3: Remove the Driver Wiper Blade

• Use your hands to rotate the blade slightly so it clears the hook.
• Pull the old blade free from the wiper arm.
• Do not release the bare wiper arm.
• Carefully rest the arm on the microfiber towel if you need both hands.

Step 4: Install the New Driver Wiper Blade

• Move the clean microfiber towel under the passenger wiper arm area.
• Never drop the arm.

Step 7: Release the Old Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your gloved fingers to press the release tab at the blade connector.
• Slide the old blade downward toward the base of the wiper arm.
• Rotate the blade slightly and pull it free from the J-hook.

Step 8: Install the New Passenger Wiper Blade

• Use your hands to align the new 22" passenger wiper blade with the J-hook.
• Slide the blade upward into the hook until you hear or feel a click.
• Pull gently on the blade by hand to confirm it is locked in place.
• No torque spec applies; this blade locks by clip pressure only.

Step 9: Lower the Passenger Wiper Arm

• Use both hands to slowly lower the passenger wiper arm onto the windshield.
• Check that both blades are seated evenly on the glass.

Step 10: Test the Wipers

• Use the windshield washer switch to spray washer fluid onto the windshield.
• Turn the wipers on low speed and watch for smooth movement.
• If a blade chatters, skips, or leaves a streak, turn the wipers off and check that the blade is fully clicked into the J-hook.
