🔧 Front Windshield Wiper Blade Replacement
Replacing the front wiper blades on your Corolla is a quick maintenance job that restores visibility in rain and helps prevent streaking. The blades use a simple hook-style connection, so the swap is straightforward with no special programming or scan tool needed.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Lift the driver wiper arm
- Grasp the driver-side wiper arm near the base and gently lift it away from the windshield.
- Raise it only as far as needed to reach the blade connection.
- Hold the arm firmly the whole time.
Step 2: Remove the old driver blade
- Use your fingers to press the small release tab on the blade adapter.
- Slide the blade down and away from the hook-style arm to remove it.
- If it resists, wiggle it slightly while keeping the arm steady.
Step 3: Install the new driver blade
- Align the new 26-inch blade with the hook on the wiper arm.
- Slide the hook into the adapter until it clicks into place.
- Pull lightly on the blade to confirm it is locked.
- Listen for the click.
Step 4: Repeat on the passenger side
- Lift the passenger wiper arm away from the glass.
- Press the release tab and remove the old blade.
- Install the new 16-inch blade on the hook until it clicks and locks.
- Check that the blade is seated securely.
Step 5: Lower both arms carefully
- Lower each wiper arm back onto the windshield by hand.
- Set them down slowly so they do not slap the glass.
- Make sure both blades sit flat against the windshield.
✅ After Repair
- Turn the wipers on with washer fluid to confirm both blades sweep smoothly.
