🔧 Headlight Bulbs - Bulb Replacement
Replacing both headlight bulbs on your Explorer is a straightforward job. On this model, the bulbs are accessed from the engine bay, so you do not need to remove the front bumper.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the headlights off and let them cool before touching anything.
- Do not touch the glass of a new halogen bulb with bare fingers; skin oil can shorten bulb life.
- If your hands get oily, clean the bulb with alcohol and a lint-free cloth before installation.
- Keep the ignition off while working near the headlamp wiring.
