🔧 Side View Mirrors - Replacement
Your mirror assembly is replaced from inside the door. On your Silverado, the mirror is usually held by fasteners behind the interior sail trim and connected by one or more electrical plugs for power adjust, heat, turn signal, puddle lamp, and memory features if equipped.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Estimated Time: 1-2 hours
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Disconnect the negative battery cable before unplugging mirror connectors. This helps prevent module faults.
- Use care around the door trim and window glass. The edges can scratch easily.
- Support the mirror from outside while removing the last fastener so it does not fall.
- If your mirror has memory, heating, or turn signals, make sure every connector is fully seated during installation.
- Do not force the trim panel clips. Broken clips can cause rattles.
