🔧 Mass Air Flow Sensor - Replacement
The mass air flow sensor on your RAV4 measures incoming air so the engine computer can set fuel correctly. If the sensor is dirty or failed, you may get rough running, poor fuel economy, hesitation, or a check engine light. Replacing it is straightforward and usually takes less than an hour.

- Do not spray cleaners on the new sensor unless the part instructions specifically say to do so.
- Handle the MAF sensor carefully; the sensing element is delicate and can be damaged easily.
