🔧 Mass Air Flow Sensor - Replacement Not Applicable
Your Accord does not use a traditional Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. This engine uses a MAP sensor instead, so there is no MAF sensor to replace. If you are having drivability issues or a check engine light, the correct repair is to inspect or replace the MAP sensor and check the intake system for leaks.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the ignition off before unplugging any sensor.
- Let the engine cool before working near the intake manifold.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable if you need extra working room around wiring.
- Do not use MAF cleaner unless the sensor is specifically a MAF.
