🔧 Front Turn Signal Bulbs - Bulb Replacement
Your front turn signal bulbs are serviced from behind the front headlamp housing. This is a straightforward job, but access is tight, so taking your time helps protect the connectors and the lamp assembly.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the lights off and let the bulbs cool before touching anything.
- Do not touch the glass of a halogen bulb with bare fingers; oil can shorten bulb life.
- Use gentle force on the headlamp connectors and socket tabs so they do not break.
- If your hands are tight on space, remove the headlamp housing instead of forcing the socket.
- No battery disconnect is required for this repair.

You'll need the following tools for this repair:

- 7mm socket

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open access to the headlamp area

Step 2: Remove the turn signal bulb socket
- Reach behind the headlamp and find the turn signal bulb socket.
- Rotate the socket counterclockwise by hand and pull it out of the lamp housing.
- Twist gently, then pull straight out.
Step 3: Replace the bulb
- Remove the old bulb from the socket.
- Install the new amber front turn signal bulb into the socket.
- Make sure it sits fully in place before reinstalling.
Step 4: Reinstall the socket
- Insert the socket back into the headlamp housing.
- Rotate it clockwise until it locks.
- If you removed any trim, reinstall it with the 7mm socket and 1/4-inch ratchet.
Step 5: Test the new bulb
- Turn the ignition on.
- Activate the left and right turn signals one at a time.
- Check that both the front signal and hazard function work correctly.
✅ After Repair
- Walk around the vehicle and confirm both front turn signals flash at the correct rate.
- If one side still does not work, recheck bulb seating and socket lock position.
