- Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
- Turn the ignition off and switch the lights off.
- Open the hood and secure it fully.
- Work on one side at a time so you can compare the bulb orientation if needed.
🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open the headlamp access area
- Open the hood and locate the back of the headlamp assembly on the side you are servicing.
- Find the round or rectangular access cover behind the lamp.
- If needed, use a trim removal tool to gently release the cover without cracking it.
Step 2: Remove the bulb holder
- Turn the turn signal bulb holder counterclockwise by hand to unlock it.
- Pull the holder straight out of the headlamp housing.
- Keep the bulb pointed up to avoid dropping it.
Step 3: Replace the bulb
- Remove the old bulb from the holder by pulling it straight out.
- Install the new front turn signal bulb into the holder fully.
- Do not force it. The bulb should seat cleanly.
Step 4: Reinstall the bulb holder
- Insert the bulb holder back into the headlamp housing.
- Turn it clockwise by hand until it locks in place.
- Reinstall the access cover and make sure it seals tightly.
Step 5: Test the new bulb
- Turn the ignition on and activate the turn signal.
- Check that the new bulb flashes normally.
- Repeat the same procedure on the other side if needed.

- Walk around the front of the car and verify both turn signals flash at the correct speed.
- Check for any warning message in the cluster.
- If the new bulb does not light, remove it and confirm it is seated correctly in the holder.
