🔧 Front Turn Signal Bulbs - Bulb Replacement
The front turn signal bulbs are replaced from the back side of the headlamp assembly. On your Rogue, access is tight, so the job is usually easier with the front wheel turned outward for extra hand room.

- Use gloves when handling the new bulb. Skin oils can shorten bulb life.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open access to the bulb socket
- Turn the steering wheel full left to work on the right side, or full right to work on the left side.
- Use a trim panel tool or your hand to gently move aside any plastic splash shield edge if needed.
- Look behind the headlamp assembly in the wheel well area for the turn signal bulb socket.
Step 2: Remove the bulb socket
- Use your hand to twist the bulb socket counterclockwise about a quarter turn.
- Pull the socket straight out of the headlamp housing.
- Do not twist too hard.
Step 3: Replace the bulb
- Remove the old bulb from the socket by pulling it straight out.
- Install the new bulb by pushing it straight into the socket until it seats fully.
- Make sure the bulb is fully seated and straight.
Step 4: Reinstall the socket
- Insert the socket back into the headlamp housing.
- Twist it clockwise until it locks in place.
- It should feel snug, not forced.
Step 5: Test the new bulb
- Turn on the ignition and activate the left and right turn signals one at a time.
- Check that both the front bulb and dash indicator flash normally.
- If the bulb does not light, remove the socket and verify the bulb is seated correctly.
✅ After Repair
- Confirm both front turn signals flash at the correct speed.
- Check for any warning lights on the dash.
- If one side flashes fast, recheck that side’s bulb installation.
