🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open wheel-well access
- Use a 7mm socket and ratchet to remove the screws holding the front edge of the wheel-well liner.
- Use a trim clip removal tool to release any plastic push clips.
- Carefully pull the liner back enough to reach the back of the front turn signal bulb.
- Work slowly so the liner does not crack.
Step 2: Remove the old bulb
- Reach behind the headlamp assembly and twist the turn signal bulb socket counterclockwise by hand.
- Pull the socket straight out.
- Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling it straight out or gently twisting it, depending on bulb style.
Step 3: Install the new bulb
- Push the new bulb into the socket firmly.
- Make sure it is fully seated and straight.
- Do not touch the glass with bare fingers.
- Use gloves for a cleaner bulb install.
Step 4: Reinstall the socket
- Insert the socket back into the headlamp housing.
- Twist it clockwise until it locks in place.
