• Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
• Turn the headlights and turn signals off.
• Open the hood and secure it.
• Assumption: this is the halogen headlamp setup with a replaceable bulb socket.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open the access area

• Open the hood and locate the back side of the front headlamp assembly.
• If space is tight, use a trim panel removal tool to move any push clips or covers blocking access.

Step 2: Remove the turn signal bulb socket

• Find the turn signal bulb socket at the rear of the headlamp assembly.
• Twist the socket counterclockwise by hand. If it is snug, use a flat-blade screwdriver gently for help.
• Pull the socket straight out.

Step 3: Replace the bulb

• Remove the old bulb from the socket.
• Install the new bulb into the socket. Use mechanic gloves so the bulb stays clean.
• Make sure the bulb is fully seated.

Step 4: Reinstall the socket

• Align the socket with the headlamp opening.
• Push it in and twist clockwise until it locks.
• Use needle-nose pliers only if the socket is hard to grip.

Step 5: Test the new bulb

• Turn the ignition on.
• Activate the left and right turn signals.
• Check that both the front bulb and the dash indicator flash normally.
