- Open the hood and locate the air filter box near the engine bay.
🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open the air filter housing
- Release the air box clips or fasteners by hand.
- Lift the top of the air filter housing carefully.
- Keep the lid clean.
Step 2: Remove the old air filter
- Lift the old filter straight out of the air box.
- Check the housing for dirt, leaves, or debris.
- If needed, wipe the inside of the air box clean with a dry cloth.
Step 3: Install the new air filter
- Place the new filter into the housing the same way the old one came out.
- Make sure the filter sits flat and the edge seal is fully seated.
- Do not force the filter.
Step 4: Reinstall the air box lid
- Lower the top half of the housing back into place.
- Reattach all clips or fasteners by hand.
- Make sure the box is fully closed all the way around.
