📋 Before You Begin

• Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
• Turn the ignition off and remove the key if equipped.
• Let the engine cool before touching the airbox.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open the airbox

• Locate the engine airbox on the top of the engine bay.
• Use a Torx T25 screwdriver to remove the airbox cover screws, if equipped.
• If your airbox uses spring clips, use a flat blade screwdriver to gently release them.
• Lift the cover slowly.

Step 2: Remove the old filter

• Lift the old filter straight out of the airbox by hand.
• Check for leaves, dust, or debris inside the housing.
• If needed, wipe the inside of the airbox clean with a dry cloth.

Step 3: Install the new filter

• Place the new engine air filter into the airbox in the same orientation as the old one.
• Make sure the filter sits flat all the way around.
• Do not force it.

Step 4: Reinstall the airbox cover

• Set the cover back in place carefully.
• Use the Torx T25 screwdriver to reinstall and snug the screws, if equipped.
• If your airbox uses clips, press them down until they lock.
• Torque to 3-5 Nm (27-44 in-lbs) if the cover screws are removable fasteners.
