📋 Before You Begin

• Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
• Open the hood and locate the air filter box on the passenger side of the engine bay.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open the air filter housing

• Use your hands to release the air box cover clips. If a clip is tight, use a flat-blade screwdriver carefully.
• Lift the cover enough to access the filter.
• Keep the cover steady.

Step 2: Remove the old filter

• Lift the old engine air filter straight out of the housing.
• Check the housing for leaves, dust, or dirt and wipe it clean if needed.

Step 3: Install the new filter

• Place the new engine air filter into the housing the same way the old one came out.
• Make sure the filter sits flat and seals all the way around.
• Don’t force the filter.

Step 4: Close the housing

• Lower the air box cover back into place.
• Reinstall and lock all clips by hand. If needed, use the flat-blade screwdriver gently.
• Make sure the housing is fully closed and sealed.
