🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open the glove box
- Open the glove box and remove any items inside.
- Let the glove box hang open so you can see the side stops.
Step 2: Release the glove box stops
- Use your hands to gently press inward on both sides of the glove box.
- This lets the stops clear the opening and the glove box drop down farther.
- Move slowly to avoid breaking the hinges.
Step 3: Remove the cabin filter cover
- Look behind the glove box for the rectangular cabin filter door.
- Use your fingers to release the cover tabs and remove the filter access cover.
Step 4: Remove the old filter
- Pull the old cabin air filter straight out.
