Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open and support the glove box
- Open the glove box fully.
- Push in the sides of the glove box gently so it drops past the stops.

Step 2: Remove the glove box damper
- Use a trim tool or small flat screwdriver to carefully pop the damper arm off its pin if needed.
- Let the glove box hang downward.

- Press the glove box sides inward slightly and close it normally.
