🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open and support the glove box

• Open the glove box fully.
• Push in the sides of the glove box gently so it drops past the stops.
• Go slow to avoid cracking the plastic.

Step 2: Remove the glove box damper

• Use a trim tool or small flat screwdriver to carefully pop the damper arm off its pin if needed.
• Let the glove box hang downward.

Step 3: Remove the cabin air filter cover

• Use your hand to release the tabs on the filter cover behind the glove box.
• Pull the cover straight out.

Step 4: Remove the old filter

• Slide the old cabin air filter out of the housing.
• Note the airflow arrow on the filter before removing it.

Step 5: Install the new filter

• Use the new cabin air filter and slide it into the housing in the same direction as the old one.
• Make sure the airflow arrow points the correct way.

Step 6: Reinstall the cover and glove box

• Reinstall the filter cover by pressing it into place.
• Lift the glove box back up and reconnect the damper arm if removed.
• Press the glove box sides inward slightly and close it normally.
