Step 1: Open the glove box area
- Open the glove box and look along the rear and lower edge for the cabin filter access cover.
- Use a flat trim tool to gently release the cover if it is clipped in place.

Step 2: Remove the cabin filter cover
- Use your fingers or the flat trim tool to unclip the access cover.
- Set the cover aside where it will not get bent.
Step 3: Remove the old filter
- Pull the old cabin air filter straight out of the housing.
- Note the airflow arrow on the old filter before removing it.
- If it is packed with debris, use a flashlight to inspect the housing for leaves or dirt.
