• Open the glove box and clear out any contents first.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open and empty the glove box

• Open the glove box and remove all items inside.
• Lower the glove box fully so you can reach the stops on both sides.

Step 2: Release the glove box stops

• Use a flat trim tool or your fingers to gently squeeze the glove box sides inward.
• Let the glove box swing down past the stops.
• Go slow to avoid broken tabs.

Step 3: Remove the cabin filter cover

• Use your hand to unclip or slide off the cabin filter access cover behind the glove box.
• Set the cover aside.

Step 4: Remove the old cabin air filter

• Pull the old filter straight out.
• Watch the airflow arrow direction on the old filter before removing it.

Step 5: Install the new cabin air filter

• Use the same airflow arrow direction as the old filter.
• Slide the new filter in fully and make sure it sits flat.
• Match the arrow exactly.

Step 6: Reinstall the cover and glove box

• Use your hand to reinstall the filter cover.
• Lift the glove box back into place.
• Gently push the sides inward and set the stops back in position.
