Step 1: Access the battery
- Open the hood and locate the battery.

- Check the terminal clamps for damage or looseness.

- Lower the new battery into the tray in the same orientation as the old one.

- Negative last.
Step 11: Finish up
- Apply battery terminal protectant spray to the terminals if desired.
- Reinstall any covers or intake parts you removed.
- Close the hood.
