🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open the hood and locate the battery
- Open the hood and secure the hood prop.
- Find the battery in the engine bay on the driver side area.
- Check for a plastic cover and remove it if equipped.
Step 2: Disconnect the negative cable
- Use a 10mm socket and ratchet to loosen the negative terminal clamp.
- Lift the negative cable off the battery post.
