🔧 Side View Mirrors - Replacement
Replacing the side view mirror assembly on your Silverado means removing the inner door trim, disconnecting the mirror wiring, and installing the new mirror on the door. If your truck has power mirrors or heated mirrors, the electrical connector must be transferred to the new assembly.
Assumption: This procedure covers the exterior mirror assembly on both sides with power mirror wiring, if equipped.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Estimated Time: 1-2 hours
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Disconnect the negative battery cable before unplugging mirror wiring.
- Use care around the door panel clips; they can break if pulled at an angle.
