🔧 Rear Turn Signal Bulbs - Bulb Replacement
The rear turn signal bulbs on your RAV4 are located in the tail lamp housings. Replacing them is a straightforward job that usually takes only a few minutes per side, and it’s smart to replace both sides at the same time so the brightness matches.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the ignition off and remove the key/fob from the vehicle.
- Let the tail lamps cool down before touching them if they were recently on.
- Do not touch the new bulb glass with bare fingers; skin oil can shorten bulb life.
- No battery disconnect is required for this repair.
- Use care around the tail lamp lens so you do not crack the plastic.
