š Before You Begin
- Park on level ground and turn the ignition OFF.
- Place a clean shop towel on the lower edge of the windshield as a cushion.

- Put the wipers into service position using ONE of the methods below (your CX-50 may use either):
- š§ Method A (stalk sequence): With ignition OFF, turn ignition ON then OFF, then within ~30 seconds move the wiper stalk to MIST (single wipe) twice to park the wipers upright.

šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Raise the wiper arms safely
- Use your hands to gently lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
- Place a clean shop towel under the arm area as protection.
Step 2: Remove the old wiper blade from the arm
- Use your hands to rotate the blade so you can see the connector where the blade meets the arm.
- Press the small release tab on the connector (itās a spring clip) and slide the blade down/off the hook/connector.
- If it feels stuck, wiggle while keeping the tab pressedādonāt pry against the glass.
Step 3: Install the new blade
- Use your hands to slide the new blade onto the arm connector until it clicks into place.
- Gently tug on the blade to confirm itās locked.
Step 4: Repeat for the passenger side
- Use your hands to lift the passenger-side arm and remove/install the blade the same way.
- Keep the clean shop towel on the glass while working.
Step 5: Return wipers from service position
- Use the ignition to turn the vehicle ON and then OFF, or use the wiper stalk once, to let the wipers return to their normal parked position.
- Lower both arms gently onto the windshield using your hands.

- Turn ignition ON and use the washer fluid to test both wipers at low speed.
- Check for skipping/chatter; if present, wipe the windshield and the new blade rubber with a clean shop towel.
- Confirm both blades park in the same spot as before (your tape marks help here).
