š Before You Begin
- Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
- Turn the ignition ON, then turn it OFF.
- Within about 10 seconds of turning the ignition OFF, tap the wiper stalk down once to move the wipers into service position. This parks them mid-windshield for access.
- Place a microfiber towel where the arm might touch, and apply painterās tape on the edge area as extra protection.
šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Put the wipers in service position
- Turn ignition ON, then OFF.
- Within ~10 seconds, tap the wiper stalk down once to move the arms up.
- Use microfiber towel and painterās tape to protect the glass/edge area.
Step 2: Lift the driver-side wiper arm
- Wear mechanic gloves and safety glasses.
- Lift the arm gently until it stays up on its hinge.
- Hold the arm any time the blade is off.
Step 3: Remove the old blade from the arm
- At the connection point, find the small release tab/clip on the blade.
- Press the tab with your thumb (no tools needed), then slide the blade down and off the arm.
- Use the microfiber towel to rest the blade/arm if needed.
Step 4: Install the new driver-side blade
- Line up the new blade connector with the armās hook/adapter.
- Slide/push it into place until you hear/feel a click.
- Lightly tug the blade to confirm itās locked.
Step 5: Repeat for the passenger-side blade
- Use the same process: lift arm, press release tab, slide old blade off, click new blade on.
- Confirm both blades are fully seated and locked.
Step 6: Lower the arms and exit service position
- Carefully lower each arm back onto the windshield.
- Turn ignition ON.
- Turn wipers ON then OFF once to return them to normal park position.

- Spray washer fluid and run the wipers at low speed to verify smooth wiping and no skipping.
- Check that each blade is fully clipped in (no looseness at the arm connection).
- If you see streaking, clean the windshield with glass cleaner and a microfiber towel.
