š Before You Begin
- Park on level ground and shift to Park.
- Turn the ignition ON, then OFF.
- Within about 10 seconds of switching OFF, tap the wiper stalk DOWN once to move the wipers to service position. Arms should stop partway up.
- Place a microfiber towel at the base of the windshield as extra protection.
šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Put the wipers in service position
- Turn ignition ON, then OFF.
- Within ~10 seconds, press the wiper stalk DOWN once to park the arms in service position.
Step 2: Lift the driver-side wiper arm
- Use nitrile gloves and lift the arm away from the glass until it stays up.
- Apply a small strip of painterās tape on the windshield where the blade normally rests (optional reference point).
Step 3: Remove the old blade from the arm
- Hold the wiper arm with one hand so it canāt spring back.
- At the blade connector, find the small release tab and press it (usually a āpinch tabā style).
- Slide the blade down and away from the arm hook/adapter until it disconnects.
- If itās stuck, wiggle while pressing the tab.
Step 4: Install the new driver-side blade
- Compare the new blade to the old one for matching length and connector style.
- Slide the new blade onto the arm connector until you hear/feel a click.
- Gently tug the blade to confirm itās locked in place.
Step 5: Repeat for the passenger-side blade
- Use nitrile gloves and lift the passenger arm.
- Press the release tab and slide the old blade off.
- Click the new blade into place and tug-check it.
Step 6: Return the wipers to normal parked position
- Lower both arms carefully back onto the windshield (use the microfiber towel as protection while lowering if you want).
- Turn ignition ON and cycle the wipers once using the stalk to let them return to their normal park position.
- Remove any painterās tape you used.

- Test washer + wipers on low speed and check for streaking or skipping.
- If thereās chatter, clean the glass and wipe the rubber edge with a damp microfiber towel.
- Confirm both blades are fully clicked in and not loose.
