🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Lift the first wiper arm
- Lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield.
- Hold the arm steady with one hand so it does not snap back.
- Protect the glass.
Step 2: Remove the old blade
- Press the small release tab on the blade adapter.
- Use your fingers to slide the blade down and off the arm hook.
- If it is stuck, gently wiggle it while keeping pressure on the release tab.
Step 3: Install the new blade
- Align the new blade with the wiper arm hook.
- Use your fingers to slide the blade into place until it clicks.
- Pull lightly on the blade to confirm it is locked.
Step 4: Repeat on the other side
- Repeat the same removal and installation steps on the passenger-side wiper arm.
- Make sure both blades are seated the same way.
Step 5: Lower the arms and test
- Carefully lower both wiper arms onto the windshield.
- Turn the ignition on and run the wipers with washer fluid.
- Check that both blades sweep smoothly with no clicking or streaking.
