š Before You Begin
- Park on level ground and make sure the transmission is in Park.
- Turn off the wipers and make sure they are not mid-sweep.
- Put the wipers in service position (this moves them up where you can lift them).
šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Move the wipers to service position
- Use the start button to switch ignition to ON (press Start without pressing the brake).
- Use the start button again to switch ignition OFF.
- Within a few seconds, use the wiper stalk and press/hold to the MIST position for about 2 seconds.
- The wipers should sweep up and stop in a raised āserviceā position.
- Service position prevents hood contact.
Step 2: Lift and protect the wiper arm
- Use a microfiber towel to lay a towel on the windshield under the wiper area.
- Carefully lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the glass until it stays up on its own.
Step 3: Remove the old blade (J-hook connector)
- Flip the wiper blade so you can see the connection where the blade meets the arm.
- Press the small release tab on the blade connector (use your thumb) and slide the blade down and off the hook.
- If itās tight, wiggle while keeping the tab pressedādonāt force it sideways.
- āJ-hookā is the common curved arm end.
Step 4: Install the new blade
- Confirm youāre holding the correct size: driver 24", passenger 20".
- Slide the new bladeās connector onto the wiper arm hook until it clicks/locks.
- Gently tug the blade to confirm itās locked in place.
Step 5: Repeat on the passenger side
- Lift the passenger wiper arm and keep the microfiber towel under the work area.
- Press the release tab and slide the old blade off, then click the new blade on.
Step 6: Return wipers to normal position
- Carefully lower both wiper arms back onto the windshield.
- Use the start button to switch ignition ON, then use the wiper stalk for one quick wipe cycle.
- The wipers should park back at the bottom edge of the windshield.

- Test with washer fluid: use the wiper stalk to spray and run the wipers.
- Check for streaking or skipping. If present, ensure the blades fully clicked onto the hooks.
- Wipe the windshield with glass cleaner if thereās road film (it causes chatter).
