š Before You Begin
- Park on level ground and switch the ignition OFF.
- Put a microfiber towel on the lower windshield area as a cushion.
- Set the wipers to service position so the arms are easier to lift: Ignition ON > Ignition OFF > within 30 seconds hold the wiper stalk in MIST for 2+ seconds.
šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Move the wipers into service position
- Use the wiper stalk to run the service position sequence: Ignition ON > Ignition OFF > within 30 seconds hold MIST for 2+ seconds.
- The wipers should stop partway up the windshield where you can safely lift the arms.
Step 2: Lift the wiper arms carefully
- Use work gloves and gently lift one wiper arm away from the glass.
- Slide the microfiber towel under the arm area for extra protection.
- Do one side at a time.
Step 3: Remove the old wiper blade
- Use your hands (with work gloves) to find the release on the blade where it attaches to the arm.
- If itās a push-button style: press the button and slide the blade downward off the arm.
- If itās a J-hook style: rotate the blade 90° and slide it down and out of the hook.
- Set the old blade aside, and keep holding the arm so it doesnāt snap back.
Step 4: Install the new wiper blade
- Use your hands to match the new bladeās connector to the wiper arm type (most blades include adapters).
- Slide the new blade onto the arm until it clicks or locks.
- Gently tug the blade to confirm itās fully seated and wonāt slide off.
Step 5: Lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield
- Use your hand to guide the arm down slowly onto the glass.
- Remove the microfiber towel and repeat Steps 2ā5 for the other side.
Step 6: Return wipers to normal parked position
- Turn the ignition ON and use the wiper stalk to turn wipers ON briefly, then OFF, so they park normally.

- Turn the ignition ON and test: washer spray + low speed + high speed.
- Check for streaking or skipping. If it chatters, clean the glass and blade edge with a damp towel.
- Make sure both blades are fully latched and not loose on the arms.
