đź“‹ Before You Begin

- Place a microfiber towel on the lower windshield area as extra protection.
- Use masking tape to mark the old blade’s parked position if you want an easy reference.
🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Lift and secure the wiper arm
- Use a microfiber towel to cover the glass under the wiper area.
- Carefully lift the wiper arm up until it’s supported.
- Hold the arm—don’t let it spring back.
Step 2: Remove the old wiper blade
- Put on nitrile gloves and safety glasses.
- At the blade’s connector, locate the small release tab (the “tab” is the little plastic latch that locks the blade to the arm).
- Press the release tab with your thumb, then slide the blade down and off the J-hook end of the arm.
- If it’s tight, wiggle the blade gently while keeping the tab pressed.
Step 3: Install the new wiper blade
- Use a step stool if needed so you’re not pulling at an angle.
- Make sure you’re installing the correct length: Driver 22", Passenger 18".
- Slide the new blade’s connector onto the J-hook until it clicks/locks.
- Gently tug the blade to confirm it’s fully latched.
Step 4: Lower the arm safely
- Hold the arm firmly and lower it back onto the windshield slowly.
- Remove the microfiber towel and any masking tape.
Step 5: Repeat for the other side
- Repeat Steps 1–4 for the other front wiper blade.
- Do one side at a time to avoid mixing sizes.
âś… After Repair
- Turn the ignition ON and run the wipers on LOW for a few passes.
- Use windshield washer fluid and check for streaks, skipping, or new noises.
- If a blade chatters, clean the windshield and the rubber edge with a microfiber towel and washer fluid.
