• Park your Altima on level ground and turn the ignition OFF.
• Lift each wiper arm up away from the windshield until it stays up.
• Place a microfiber towel on the windshield under the wiper area for protection.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Remove the driver-side wiper blade

• Lift the driver-side wiper arm up.
• Find the small release tab where the blade meets the arm (this is the lock that holds the blade on).
• Press the tab and slide the blade down toward the base of the arm to unhook it.
• If the tab is stubborn, gently help it with a small flathead screwdriver. Don’t pry hard—plastic breaks.
• Once unhooked, remove the blade completely from the arm.

Step 2: Install the new driver-side wiper blade

• Compare the new blade to the old one to confirm length: 28".
• Slide the new blade’s connector onto the wiper arm hook until it clicks/locks.
• Gently tug the blade to confirm it’s locked in place.

Step 3: Remove and replace the passenger-side wiper blade

• Repeat the same process on the passenger side.
• Confirm length before installing: 17".
• Make sure the connector clicks fully into the locked position.

Step 4: Lower the wiper arms back onto the windshield

• Remove the microfiber towel.
• Lower each arm down slowly by hand so it doesn’t slap the glass.
