• Park on level ground, shift to Park, and turn the ignition OFF.
• Use a shop towel to cover the lower edge of the windshield where the arms could fall.
• Use painter’s tape 1 in to mark where each blade sits on the glass so you can confirm the new blade parks correctly.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift the wiper arm

• Put on work gloves and safety glasses.
• Lift the driver-side wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays up.
• Keep the shop towel on the windshield under your work area.

Step 2: Remove the old wiper blade

• Hold the wiper arm with one hand so it can’t snap back.
• At the blade connection, find the small release tab/clip.
• Press the release tab with your thumb (use your work gloves for grip), then slide the blade downward/off the hook.
• Don’t force it—recheck the tab direction.

Step 3: Prepare the new blade (adapter check)

• Compare the new blade to the old one for length (use the painter’s tape 1 in mark as a quick reference).
• If your new blade includes multiple adapters, select the one that matches the wiper arm’s “hook” style. An adapter is the small plastic piece that lets the blade lock onto the arm.

Step 4: Install the new wiper blade

• Slide the new blade onto the hook until it clicks/locks in place.
• Gently tug the blade (with work gloves) to confirm it’s fully latched.

Step 5: Lower the arm carefully

• Lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield slowly—do not let it drop.
• Repeat Steps 1–5 for the passenger-side blade.
