š Before You Begin
- Park on level ground and turn the ignition off.
- Lift each front wiper arm up away from the windshield.
- Place a clean shop towel on the windshield under the wiper arm as a cushion.
šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Remove the old wiper blade (one side)
- Put on safety glasses and mechanicās gloves.
- Lift the wiper arm up and keep one hand holding it.
- At the blade connection, find the small release tab where the blade clips to the arm.
- Press the tab with your thumb (or while wearing mechanicās gloves), then slide the blade down and off the hook.
- Keep the arm controlled the whole time.
Step 2: Install the new wiper blade
- Compare the new blade to the old one to ensure the same length.
- Line up the new bladeās connector with the hook on the wiper arm.
- Slide/clip it into place until you hear or feel a āclick.ā
- Gently tug the blade to confirm itās locked on.
Step 3: Repeat on the other side
- Use the same process to remove and install the other front blade.
- Keep the clean shop towel under the arm while working.
Step 4: Set the arms back down
- Remove the clean shop towel.
- Lower each wiper arm back onto the windshield gently (donāt let it drop).

- Start the engine and lightly spray washer fluid.
- Run the wipers on low speed and check for streaking, skipping, or chatter.
- If a blade chatters, clean the windshield and blade rubber with a damp towel, then re-test.
