🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open access to the back of the headlamp

• Use a 7mm socket and 1/4-inch ratchet to remove any fasteners holding the upper radiator cover or headlamp access area, if equipped.
• If needed, use a flat-head trim tool to release plastic clips gently.
• Keep fasteners in order.

Step 2: Reach the turn signal bulb socket

• Locate the turn signal bulb socket at the back of the front headlamp assembly.
• Twist the socket counterclockwise by hand and pull it straight out.
• If the socket is tight, use your hand only first. Do not pry hard with tools.

Step 3: Remove the old bulb

• Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
• If the bulb is a twist-lock style, align the tabs and remove it carefully.
• Wear gloves so you do not cut your hand on the housing edges.

Step 4: Install the new bulb

• Install the new front turn signal bulb into the socket in the same position as the old one.
• Make sure it seats fully and straight.
• If it is a halogen bulb, do not touch the glass.

Step 5: Reinstall the socket

• Insert the socket back into the headlamp assembly.
• Twist it clockwise by hand until it locks.
• It should feel snug, not forced.

Step 6: Test the turn signal

• Turn the ignition on and activate the front turn signal.
• Check for normal blinking on the repaired side.
• If the bulb does not light, remove the socket and recheck the bulb fit.

Step 7: Reassemble the access area
