🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open the hood and find the bulb socket

• Open the hood and look behind the headlamp assembly on the side with the failed bulb.
• Find the turn signal bulb socket at the rear of the headlamp housing.
• Tip: The socket is usually the outermost bulb holder.

Step 2: Remove the bulb socket

• Use your hand to twist the bulb socket counterclockwise.
• If it is stuck, use a small flat blade screwdriver gently on the socket tab.
• Pull the socket straight out of the housing.

Step 3: Replace the bulb

• Twist the old bulb counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
• Install the new bulb in the socket and twist it clockwise to lock it in place.
• Do not touch the glass part of the new bulb with bare fingers.

Step 4: Reinstall the socket

• Align the socket with the headlamp opening.
• Push it straight in, then twist clockwise until it locks.
• Make sure it sits fully seated and does not wobble.

Step 5: Test the turn signal

• Turn the ignition on.
• Activate the left or right turn signal and confirm the new bulb flashes correctly.
• If it does not work, remove the socket again and check bulb seating.
