📋 Before You Begin

• Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
• Turn the headlight switch off.
• Open the hood and locate the back side of the headlamp assembly.
• Work on one side at a time.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Access the back of the headlamp

• Open the hood.
• Use a 10mm socket and ratchet to remove any air duct or cover blocking access to the rear of the headlamp, if equipped.
• If access is still tight, use a trim clip tool to remove the upper splash shield clips near the lamp.

Step 2: Remove the turn signal bulb socket

• Find the rear turn signal bulb socket on the back of the headlamp.
• Twist the socket counterclockwise by hand, then pull it straight out.
• If it is stuck, use needle-nose pliers gently on the socket base, not the wires.

Step 3: Replace the bulb

• Wearing gloves, remove the old bulb from the socket.
• Install the new bulb in the same orientation.
• Do not force the bulb.

Step 4: Reinstall the socket

• Push the socket back into the headlamp housing.
• Twist it clockwise until it locks.
• If equipped, make sure the seal sits flat and clean.

Step 5: Test the light

• Turn the parking lights on and activate the turn signal.
• Check that the front turn signal flashes normally.
• If the bulb does not light, remove it and check the fit again.
