📋 Before You Begin

• Park on level ground.
• Set the parking brake.
• Turn the headlight and turn signal stalk off.
• Open the hood for access.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Open the headlamp access area

• Open the hood and locate the back side of the headlamp housing.
• Use your hands first to find the turn signal bulb socket at the outer corner of the headlamp assembly.

Step 2: Remove the bulb socket

• Use your hand to twist the socket counterclockwise about a quarter turn.
• Pull the socket straight out of the housing.
• Do not force it.

Step 3: Replace the bulb

• Use your fingers to pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
• Push the new bulb into the socket until it seats fully.
• If the bulb has an amber coating, keep the glass clean.

Step 4: Reinstall the socket

• Align the socket tabs with the opening in the headlamp housing.
• Use your hand to twist the socket clockwise until it locks.
• Make sure it is snug and fully seated.

Step 5: Test the new bulb

• Turn on the ignition and activate the turn signal.
• Check that the new bulb flashes correctly.
• Repeat on the other side if needed.

• Walk around the vehicle and verify the lens is fully seated.
• If a bulb does not light, remove the socket and confirm the bulb is fully seated.
